Amazing things happen when people work together. Since its inception, Skate4Cancer has been sustained by the energy of countless individuals who have put their hearts into finding a cure. For us it's not about money, it's about knowledge. So your hope is our fuel, our inspiration. But as S4C continues to grow we require more and more support, and that's where you come in.
Over the next few months, we will be initiating an online forum where members of the site can interact and discuss, laugh, get excited and build a community of love. We are always looking for fresh ideas and new ways of getting people stoked on cancer prevention through healthy living.
On top of that, we're gonna start organizing street teams that can help spread the word. Anyone can contribute by using their creative skills to promote healthy lifestyles in their neighborhoods. Whether it's awareness shows at a local venue or a school assembly, everything works to get people hyped. And you are the best tool we have, period.
So how do you get involved?
Well, first off you have to join the mailing list to make sure you're staying up on the latest S4C developments. Next, keep in touch; talk to each other and work together to make good things happen. Then post your ideas on the forum to see what people think, and send us videos, recordings or whatever and we'll use it in future S4C campaigns.
Finally, if you think you can organize some friends into a street team, let us know. We'll respond with the information you need to get your team fired up and educated, because we all know that currently the only cure around is knowledge.
